  • Can give a detailed account of current scientific knowledge at an international level within the specific problem of the project work

Skills

  • Can argue for the relevance of a specific scientific problem within the field of biomedical engineering
  • Can use acknowledged methods for signal processing
  • Can prepare a literature search protocol to investigate a relevant biomedical engineering hypothesis and apply the identified literature
  • Can interpret signals generated from biological sources
  • Can extract and apply relevant information from the signal in the specific context
  • Can plan and carry out a research study
  • Can argue for the choice of knowledgebase grounded in the scientific hypothesis
  • Can discuss the scientific significance of controlling and understanding all variables as predictors, confounders, fixed and random effects
  • Can document how the resources of the project work are allocated in relation to the learning objectives
