Content, progress and pedagogy of the module

The aim of the module is to provide the student with a deeper understanding of selected macroeconomic issues.

The module will provide the necessary theoretical foundation for the study of macroeconomic theory. This creates an understanding of the underlying theoretical foundation for a given model framework. This is done especially with a focus on the importance of the chosen macroeconomic model framework, as this choice has significant implications for both the theoretical and economic policy analysis results subsequently obtained.
