PURPOSE
The module aims to provide knowledge and skills regarding
interactive physical products and technologies, including how
physical elements can be integrated, designed and used in
interactive technologies. The module introduces and integrates
knowledge of physical, mechanical and/or active components,
physical data processing, sensors, microcontrollers, simple control
and interface design. Through design and studies of physical design
and user interfaces on various products, as well as functionality
and design of physical interactive elements, an understanding of
principles and solution types is sought. The module can contain
various forms of physical design, for example shape-changing
interfaces or moving technologies such as robots.
The teaching is organized in accordance with the general teaching methods for the education, cf. section 17
The student is expected to spend 30 hours per ECTS, which for this activity means 150 hours.
