PURPOSE
This course module aims to provide the student with the knowledge,
methods and skills to study users and interact with them through a
Co-design process. User study methods are introduced and trained,
which respectively focus on what users do, use, say, create and
think, as well as the physical and ergonomic factors in relation to
use and user. Thereby, the student must gain competence in
designing for the user's recognized and unrecognized needs,
with respect for the user and their context and culture
The teaching is organized in accordance with the general teaching methods for the education, cf. section 17.
The student is expected to spend 30 hours per ECTS, which for this activity means 150 hours.
