PURPOSE:
To enable the student to gain knowledge about problem-oriented
project work and specifically to analyze and define a problem
within data analysis, as well as describe the problem in an
application context with an emphasis on either a technical or
social context.
RATIONALE:
Many companies today have data stored in spreadsheets. Spreadsheets
have some functionality for data analysis. This project will test
the possibilities and limitations. The project aims to provide
insight into data analysis on a realistic dataset. As with all
projects in this program, problem-based learning in groups is
employed.
The project work also focuses on gaining early experience with problem-oriented project work in groups to build competence for the P1 project.
Project work
The student is expected to spend 30 hours per ECTS, which for this activity means 150 hours.
