PURPOSE
​​The module aims to provide knowledge and skills within user-centred artificial intelligence (artificial intelligence) with a special focus on interaction with AI technology. The module includes a theoretical part which introduces human interaction with AI, including different forms of interaction, and which also introduces different aspects of AI models and classification. The module also contains a more application-oriented part that deals with setting up and using concrete AI models including training/evaluation using data

Learning objectives

Knowledge

  • must have knowledge of interaction forms or models for AI use
     
  • must have knowledge of implications for the application of AI. This could include topics such as trust, fairness, ethical AI, collaborative AI, explainable AI
     
  • must have basic knowledge of different forms and types of AI and classification, and this could e.g. be machine learning, neural networks, deep learning, NLP

Skills

  • must be able to develop an AI model based on data

Competences

  • must be able to reflect on the design, construction and evaluation of AI models
     
  • must be able to reflect on the importance of AI models for interaction between users and system as well as societal conditions

Type of instruction

The teaching is organized in accordance with the general teaching methods for the education, cf. section 17.

Extent and expected workload

The student is expected to spend 30 hours per ECTS, which for this activity means 150 hours.
