PURPOSE
To enable the student to acquire knowledge and skills in agile
approaches to the analysis, design, implementation, and evaluation
of large software systems in a larger development environment
consisting of multiple projects.
RATIONALE
In solving problems related to the development of large software
systems in a larger development environment, sub-projects must be
coordinated to achieve a common solution. The student must gain an
understanding of the issues involved in developing such systems and
how agile system development can be used for this purpose. Working
on analyzing, designing, programming, and testing an application
with significant functionality that is to be integrated into an
organizational environment focuses on agile requirements
management, inter-project leadership, programming of large software
systems, and test management
Project work in multi-projects. Each group submits their own report, but there is collaboration across multiple groups on the development of a common system.
The student is expected to spend 30 hours per ECTS, which for this activity means 450 hours.
