Knowledge

  • theories and concepts in the area of sustainable tourism transitions and societal challenges
  • contemporary and key debates related to societal challenges in tourism and sustainable tourism transitions including the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
  • different types of ethical, environmental, social, digital and economic issues in sustainable tourism transitions.

  • identifying and critically discussing debates within sustainable tourism transitions and societal challenges
  • selecting and applying relevant conceptual and methodological tools for the analyses of sustainable tourism transitions and societal challenges
  • producing critical and creative analyses of sustainable tourism transitions and societal challenges

An internal examination in: Sustainable Tourism Transitions and Societal Challenges (Bæredygtig Turisme, Transitioner og Samfundsmæssige Udfordringer)

The examination is a portfolio comprising contributions from the students set by the examiner on the basis of the course module. Students will receive feedback on their work during the module which may be used to improve their assignment before final submission. The examination portfolio will be prepared individually by the student and must not exceed 10 pages.

The assignment paper will be evaluated by an internal examiner.
