The aim of the course is for students to gain experience and understanding of the process of statistical consulting. Major emphases of the course will be on relating to the client and understanding their problem, communicating the results of your analysis to the client in both written and verbal form, and on carrying out your analysis of the data from the client’s problem and presenting statistical results.

can use graphics to visualise the findings and support conclusions
can combine appropriate topics from the course to analyse a specific problem

The module will based on few lectures and short class discussions. The students will discuss and present materials handed out by the instructor. The students will present their progress on class and get feedback on their final report.
5 ECTS equivalent to a workload of 150 hours.
