Content, progress and pedagogy of the module

The module provides a fundamental understanding of key elements of business law such as basic property law and administrative law.

The module also provides students with an understanding of the basic principles of contract law, purchase law, credit law, employment law, guaranty Law, company law, insolvency law, administrative law principles and their application in an administrative law context, as well as knowledge that is a prerequisite for organising business work involving legal issues.

Learning objectives

Knowledge

The objective is that the student after the module possesses the necessary knowledge on:

  • basic property law and administrative law mindset
  • basic principles of contract law, purchase law, credit law, employment law, guaranty Law, company law, insolvency law
  • administrative law principles and their use in an administrative law area

Skills

The objective is that the student after the module possesses the necessary skills in:

  • systematizing basic issues of property law and administrative law
  • assessing the solution of concrete basic property/administrative law problems
  • presenting a solution to basic property/administrative law problems

Competences

The objective is that the student after the module possesses the necessary competences in:

  • identifying basic property law, contractual law and administrative law issues.
  • taking responsibility for their own learning in basic property/administrative law.
  • organizing work involving legal issues
