The module is based on knowledge achieved in the module Introduction to mechanics and thermodynamics or similar.
Be able to use theories and methods from thermodynamics, heat transfer and fluid mechanics to analyse systems and select components for heat pumps, thermal power plants, air condition, pipe systems, cooling systems etc.
Lectures supported by self-study and/or study circles as well as e-learning activities.
Since it is a 5 ECTS course, the work load is expected to be 150 hours for the student.
