PURPOSE
This course module aims to provide the student with the knowledge,
methods and skills to study users and interact with them through a
design process. User study methods are introduced and trained,
which focus on what the users do, use, state, create and think, as
well as the physical and ergonomic factors in relation to use and
user. Thereby, the student must acquire competence in designing for
the user's recognized and unrecognized needs with respect for
the user and his context and culture.
