PURPOSE
The purpose of the project module is to introduce the students in
collaboration with users in an interaction design process, where
the focus is on involving future users early in the process based
on needs and context, and crucial emphasis is placed on empirical
assessments of products designed, and focus on an iterative design
process. In addition, the goal is for the process to be translated
into an interactive prototype. In the project, emphasis is placed
on working with both qualitative and quantitative methods in the
collaboration with users, and the developed interactive product
must be able to be anchored in the empirical work with users. The
project subject could be diverse, but it should be strived for that
the users and the context of use are available for the project. As
part of the project module, a documentary video must be prepared
that depicts the project's problem, design process and
solution.
Project work
The student is expected to spend 27.5 hours per ECTS, which for this activity means 412.5 hours.
