In recent time the concept business models have become a popular theme. The internet brought new business opportunities, but also complicated the way companies do business. The manner one chooses to design and execute the business model is essential, but which analytical and design tools are available? This module will focus on these questions through consideration of the concepts and how to work with business models.

The objective is that the student after the module possesses the necessary knowledge on:

  • central theoretical tools to develop business models.

Skills

The objective is that the student after the module possesses the necessary skills in:

  • analysing business models relation to core fields such as strategy, organisational development, management accounting, marketing, supply-chain analysis and stakeholder analysis.

Competences

The objective is that the student after the module possesses the necessary competences in:

  • developing business models and apply these on case companies.
