The project module provides knowledge and skills for planning and conducting a creative problem-solving project that can change and develop an existing practice in professional, organisational and/or digital media related contexts. Changes both trough and of visual and digital communication and of art pedagogical and cultural practice. The content focusses on analysis and design of meaning-making activities in different contexts and interactions. The module comprises also planning, conducting and communication of the project results to a broader audience like a conference, an event, an exhibition or an artefact. First part of the module is taking place as a five-days mandatory symposium on one campus.

Oral exam based on a projectThe examination is a conversation between the student(s) and the examiner and internal examiner based on a project report produced individually or in a group. The project report/written work will be considered the shared responsibility of the group. Students will be examined and assessed on the basis of the entire project report, and one combined grade will be awarded each student for the project report and the oral performance.
In order to be eligible for the exam, the student must have attended the mandatory five-day symposium.
Prerequisite for enrollment for the reexamination:
If the student has not attended the symposium, the student must write a paper relating to the academic area of the symposium to be approved by the course lecturer in order to gain eligibility.
