This module comprises teaching of philosophy of science and methodology with a main emphasis on philosophy of science and methods related to international and intercultural issues, within the humanistic and social sciences. In addition, a workshop series on problem based learning and hands-on project writing skills will be included.

An internal examination in: Philosophy of Science and Methodology.
The examination is completed by satisfactory and active
participation in the module, including lectures and PBL workshop,
i.e. a minimum of 80% attendance, contribution to discussion
sessions of the module through oral presentation and active
participation and completion of set tasks, which will be part of a
portfolio.
Re-examination is a 2-day take-home assignment given by the examiner on the basis of the curriculum for the module in Philosophy of Science and Methodology. The assignment paper must not exceed 10 pages. The assignment paper will be evaluated by an internal examiner. |
