PURPOSE
The module aims to provide knowledge and competencies regarding
interactive physical products and technologies, including how
physical elements can be integrated, designed and used in
interactive technologies. The module introduces and integrates
knowledge of physical, mechanical or active components, sensors,
simple control and interface design. Through the design and study
of physical designs and user interfaces on various products, as
well as functionality and design of physical interactive elements,
an understanding of principles and solution types is sought. The
module can contain various forms of physical design, such as
shape-changing interfaces or moving technologies such as
robots.
The teaching is organized in accordance with the general teaching methods for the education, cf. section 17
The student is expected to spend 30 hours per ECTS, which for this activity means 150 hours.
