PURPOSE
The module aims to provide the student with knowledge of design
principles and guidelines for functional design, including
knowledge of gestalt laws, knowledge of human cognition, such as
human memory and perception, the importance of cognition for the
use of IT systems. The course also provides knowledge of principles
and guidelines for graphic design as well as tool support for its
design. In addition, prototyping is introduced as a technique in an
interaction process, where the student becomes able to design a
user interface, where functional and graphic design principles and
guidelines are utilized.
The student is expected to spend 30 hours per ECTS, which for this activity means 150 hours.
