Prior to this module, the student will have acquired basic
insight into scientific theory. The module therefore increases the
level of complexity from basic to advanced, and the student is
taught more and more in-depth science theoretical concepts and
paradigms at an advanced level.
The module focuses on how science theory influences the exploration
and handling of scientific issues in practice, including a focus on
the relationship between paradigm choice, study design and specific
study methods.
The module also includes an introduction to the ethical dimensions
of working scientifically in practice within business
economics.
