The purpose of this module is to allow students a unique opportunity to explore and conduct academic work. The module is aimed for students who want to test and extend the boundaries of business data science, expand their knowledge, competences, and skills in a research setting. This module can be well related to the “Business Cooperation” project where the practical issues in organizations are studied. The research nature of this module provides an opportunity to better prepare students for the master’s thesis writing.
The module results in a written product where the student explicate the knowledge, skills, and competencies acquired. The written product can either be in the format of a project or a research article. The student is appointed a supervisor.
