This module comprises lectures and seminars that include
exercises and student contributions. On the basis of theories of
identity formation and intercultural communication, this module
focuses on the colonial history of the Arctic peoples,
nation-building, historical and contemporary migration to and from
the Arctic, cultural encounters and cultural exchanges.
This module is part of the specialisation in Arctic Studies.
