Objectives
The objective of this module is:
To provide students with knowledge of selected topics and current issues within international relations.
To enable students to apply relevant theoretical perspectives to analyze and discuss key elements of international relations in relation to empirical cases and reflect on these on a scientific basis.
Content
Students will be introduced to selected, current topics within the field of international relations. The module forms the basis for further empirical and theoretical analysis within the field in the project module of the semester.

can communicate research findings to an academic audience in a succinct manner.
The module consists of lectures, discussions, exercises and student contributions.

72-hour take-home assignment comprising issues within the subject
area of the module. The assignment paper must not exceed 8
