Module contents: The module is an introduction of the students to the history of art and technology with special emphasis on the theories and techniques, which have been or are currently prevailing in the areas of art experience and aesthetics. Together with History of Art and Technology I the module introduces the students to examples of artists, artworks and historic events that are significant to the history of Art and Technology. Using the teaching forms of lectures, workshops and seminars, the module will introduce problems regarding description and analysis of artworks.

The examination is a 7-day assignment on a set subject. The
assignment is evaluated by one examiner and awarded a pass/fail
grade.
Number of pages: the written work must not exceed 10 pages. In case of a Fail grade, an additional examiner will also evaluate the assignment. The examination may be substituted by satisfactory and active participation in courses, i.e. 80% presence and submission of all assignments set during the course. |
