This module is based on knowledge gained in the modules Data Science and Process Improvement Systems Thinking and Process Improvement and Fundamentals of Operations Management and Process Modelling and Control, Digital Manufacturing Technology or Digital Manufacturing Models and Manufacturing Processes, Automation and Robots.

Learning objectives

Knowledge

  • Must have knowledge about autonomous systems (ASTs).

  • Must have knowledge about advantages and disadvantages of selected ASTs.

Skills

  • Must be able to explain selected ASTs.

  • Must be able to evaluate and rationalize about selected ASTs.

  • Must be able to compute the costs and the profits from using a specific ASTs.

  • Must be able to analyse organizations and stakeholders.

  • Must be able to discuss and evaluate project plans.

Competences

Must have the competencies to apply theories of organizational design and to use project management tools for autonomous systems.

The teaching is organized in accordance with the general form of teaching. Please see the programme cirruculum ยง17.

Extent and expected workload

Since it is a 5 ECTS course module the expected workload is 150 hours for the student.
