The aim of the course is to prepare students to plan and conduct research by introducing consecutive steps of the research process. Students will learn basic research methods used in humanities and social sciences. They will have opportunities to develop writing and presentation skills. The course consists of units devoted to general introduction to epistemology, research objectives, research design, writing a research proposal, research methods (methods of data collection and analysis, interviews, methods of visual and textual analysis), and presenting research results.
