The objective of the module is to provide students with knowledge of critical analysis of core themes within sustainable planning; these issues are crucial for authorities in low and middle income countries (at the local, regional and national levels), for international organisations and within the field of international tourism.

The modules Transnational Mobilities as Agents of Change, Ethics in
Tourism and Ethical Development and Mobilities, Development and
Diaspora (3 x 5 ECTS) will be jointly evaluated in one examination:
an internally assessed individual written examination. The
examination is a 48-hour take-home assignment comprising issues
within the subject areas of the three modules. The assignment paper
must not exceed 10 pages. |
