Learning objectives
Knowledge
- Must have knowledge on general theories regarding organizations
and communities
- Must have knowledge on theories regarding the management of
distributed organizations and communities
- Must have knowledge on theories on knowledge sharing and
management
- Must have knowledge on drivers and barriers concerning the
implementation of information technology systems in
organizations
- Must have knowledge regarding theories on alignment of IT and
business strategies of organizations
- Must have knowledge on needs and use of ICT systems in
different kinds of organizations including distributed
organizations
- Must have knowledge on theories of digital transformation of
organizations
Skills
- Must have basic skills in analysing organizational
structures
- Must have skills in the use and application of different
relevant information and communication technology systems; this
applies inter alia to Internet of Things (IoT), decision
support systems and Artificial Intelligence (AI), cloud storage and
remote data processing
- Must have skills in analysing the use of social media for
organizational purposes
- Must have skills to discuss the similarities and differences
between the issues raised by the implementation of new ICT tools in
public and private organizations
Competences
- Must demonstrate competences in the identification and analysis
of the organizational requirements for knowledge and information
sharing
- Must have competences in describing and discussing the
challenges in sharing information and knowledge via information
technology systems
- Must have competences in choosing and describing knowledge and
information for ICT based system
- Must have acquired competences in choosing relevant technology
systems
- Must have competences in applying the acquired knowledge and
skills on specific company cases
