Content, progress and pedagogy of the module
During the fourth or fifth semester, students can study abroad at a foreign university or educational institution (e.g. art academy). The study activities abroad must in terms of content and subject matter match or add to the program of Art and Technology at Aalborg University. The student does not have the possibility to studying abroad during both semesters.
The student has to apply the study board by sending in detailed information about the foreign educational institution and the courses the student plan to attend (cf. form issued by the study board of ArT); and the board of study has to approve it, before the student can travel abroad.

Normally, the foreign program defines the examination form and
requirements. The student has to submit all assignments and has to
attend all assessments specified by the program chosen
corresponding to 30 ECTS. In addition, the student has to prepare a
short evaluation report of his/her study abroad including a short
description of the institution, the courses attended, and the
learning outcome. This part must not exceed 3 pages.
In case the educational institution does not grade or otherwise assess students‟ work according to 7-point scale (e.g. various art academies), the student has to submit a reflective report describing his/her work during the semester, theories and methods applied, and the learning outcome. Form of examination: a). The written part must not exceed 20 pages. |
